Carrying on the Mission of Revolutionary Pioneers

I’m Park Goeun.

During my nine years living in China,

I have traveled to many cities with my Chinese colleagues

and witnessed the rapid development of China’s economy and society.

There is an old Chinese saying:

“History is a mirror that reflects the vicissitudes of life.”

My friends told me that if I want to understand today’s China,

I must first learn about its history.

Thus, during this year’s Spring Festival holiday,

I visited a place where a Chinese revolutionary martyr lies at rest.
