The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) has traversed an extraordinary path of development in the past 20 years. During these years, the member states of the SCO have united and cooperated to seek common development.

Nurlan, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the SCO Secretariat, regards the Shanghai Spirit as a unique spirit. The Shanghai Spirit demonstrates mutual understanding, mutual respect, and mutual support between countries. He believes that it is precisely because of the Shanghai Spirit that the SCO has become an important factor in maintaining regional stability.
