The “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Integrated Development” project, an ambitious national strategy of China, aims to transfer non-capital functions out of Beijing, improve the economic and spatial structure of the region, build a world-class city cluster, and thus transform the Bohai Bay area into a zone of prosperity in the coming decades.
